| vista32 and xppro | How can I make XP and Vista see each other? One XP Pro wireless laptop, one Vista desktop (premium) wired to the router. Both can see the router. Both get Internet. Neither can see each other. To make this happen do I: on vista turn on file and printer sharing turn on simple file sharing on XP create a share or share the printer, etc. Is that all I do? If the wireless network is secure, do I run a risk by opening up shares? Thank you for any help. |
