Realtek 8169 NIC stopped working

Hey,
I had to box up PC for a week, redecorating. I set it back up and everything was fine, internet and all. The next day, I started her up and it didn't connect to the web. I looked into it and Windows told me that the device (NIC card) could not be started code 10. The drivers are the original Vista x64 ones I first installed when I got the card about a month ago. I have reinstalled, but it says the same thing.

Any idea's or is the card dead and another £20 needed to be spent?

Cheers

Have you made sure everything is firmly seated in their slots, perhaps the move has loosened the connections and they just want pushing back in again. ;)

Don't know if this is the solution but was my first thought with regards the problem.;)

Thanks for reply,
I looked at the card and one of the capacitors O(or what ever my dad called it) has gone. I got a new one now and all is fine.
