Getting "Access denied" when trying to map network drives

Recently installed Vista on upgraded desktop. When I try to map network drive from a XP desktop for folders on the Vista desktop I get "Access denied" "you may not have permission to use this network".

I have no problems setting up the sharing from the Vista to the XP machines and a NAS.

I can see the folders that I want to share when I open up "My Network Places" I just cannot map the locations.

The firewalls have all been turned off and I have been in admistrator when setting up sharing and permissions.

Suggestions please.
