How to remove No-cache headers

i am unable to download any files and ive been checking forums and ppl have beeen saying that it might work if i change it to no-cache headers Internet Explorer is unable to open Office documents from an SSL Web site.
ive read this article but i really have no idea to go about fixing what they say needs to be fixed. any suggestions?
