bluetooth question ?

hello all :)
i am just thinking..i wrong i bet cause i allwise am me loool :rolleyes:
when i brought me laptop it has bluetooth on it ..i guess so as its in me control panel..
i clicked on it comes up as nothing...do i have to get bluetooth dongle for this to work...or what do i need for this to work ..i know just made myself sound soo dumb but its ok you can have laugh on me if you wishh

Many times with laptops, there will be a button somewhere on the machine itself that lets you turn bluetooth on and off. It is usually next to your wireless on/off switch and has a bluetooth logo on or near it.

If it is an off/on type switch, make sure it is on. If it is a rocker-type switch, slide it and see if any lights on your laptop light up or turn off (when the light is on, Bluetooth should be on).

Once you know you have your bluetooth switch on, if it still does not work, restart and boot into your BIOS setup (usually DELETE, F2, or F10 when the computer is first coming on). Make sure "ONBOARD BLUETOOTH" or something like that is on.

Otherwise, it sounds like an issue you need to take up with the laptop manufacturer. If you have found your switch, made sure it is on, and activated bluetooth in your BIOS, then post back if you are still having issues.

well ..i just looked through paper work that come with the laptop mate there nothing it seys about bluetooth werid eh ? well there is no swtich no were on my laptop just checked it all over mate but i got this print screen it might help i just looking through google i seen few thigns but they just dont work comes up with this ...

well i would thought so mate as it would not have bluetooth on my control or would it ? i not 2 sure mate but thinking about if bluetooth on my laptop it must be active to my phone and stuff cause if not it would not come with the laptop ..i might be wrong mate to be honest i really dont know:rolleyes:
