Refresh / Flush DNS

I have two user accounts on my home PC. It's Vista Home Premium.

I am administrator on my PC. When I check my user account, it confirms this.

However, when I try, thru a CMD prompt, to do ipconfig /flushdns, I get an error message saying "The requested operation requires elevation."

The prompt is C:\Users\Bruce which implies I'm not the administrator.

How do I get to the right place to clear the DNS? It's causing me some trouble.

I'm on a home wireless network, just my notebook and the wireless router (attached to a cable modem).

Re: Refresh / Flush DNS

You need to right click on CMD and select run as admin then you won't get that error
