"Windows cannot find any network"

Hi

Windows Vista says "Windows cannot find any network" after I installed the vista service pack 1.

Before I installed the service pack everything was fine but after installing everything turned into hell.

I tried everything i can imagine but failed to turn it back to normal.

So I rolled back the service pack but this made the problem worse.

This time when I try to reinstall the driver for my wireless adapter (which is Atheros AR5007EG), an error (-5005: 0x8000ffff) occurs while running the setup.

Now I don't even know what to do with all these stuff.

Because I'm using pre-installed vista in my leptop and no recovery points ever made before I can't just simply wipe out the whole thing.

I'm pretty sure that it's not hardware clash or something like that because it worked perfectly well two hours ago before installing the service pack.

Please help me.

ps. my laptop is Acer extensa 5220

Hi,

u can restore ur computer to an earlier point. because all Microsoft updates, service packs and many softwares will create restore points before they get installed.
