| vista home premium 32bit | windows xp wifi manager hey guys,on my xp OS i have wireless and im using ipconfig as the wifi manage but sometimes when i start the OS the wireless manager dosn't work not that it cant pick up the signal from 2 feet away, it just dosnt work on my vista OS works fine from same room 4 bar signal the only solution ive found is to call up Ihug and that usualy solves the problem but the ISP should have nothing to do with IPconfig not working i ve looked for driver updates ect. but mybey its just one of those things. -skript kiddie- |

| vista home premium 32bit | Re: windows xp wifi manager lol im just kidding okay? but yes now what i want is that xp wifi manager has stopped working every startup of the os it sometimes dosn't work and i have to call Ihug my ISP and then it works but the router configuration should have nothing to do with the router. or whats wrong with the xp wifi manager |

| vista64 | Re: windows xp wifi manager If it's something that your ISP has control of, it sounds like it's their problem. Do you have a combo modem/router ? If so, perhaps the ISP is rebooting it. |

That sort of thing is often necessary for them to manage the network. If it doesn't behave properly until your ISP does something, the quickest and easiest way to figure out what that is would be to simply ask them. |
