Which Wireless Router?

I have a new computer I bought about a month ago(Vista Home Premium 64-bit) and the old one is Windows XP home in an adjacent room. Rather than run cable up the wall, down the carpet sort of thing, I though of getting a wireless router and USB Adapter . The one I'm looking at is the Linksys WRT320N or the WRT610N with the Wireless-N network adapter (Dual band) to plug into the old computer. Does this sound like a viable option that will work well or is there an equal but cheaper alternative? I currently have a Linksys WIRED type router that would be replaced.
