| Vista Home Premium 64bit | Vista net issues Lost connection with server: Connection interrupted by other software on your computer. what does this mean? Can anyone tell me about this? Vista randomly does this to me can anyone explain it? I get that error on pidgin then the next thing i know Perfect World loses connection, then all my clients die. So anyone know what Vista's doing? |

It might just be the app's way of telling you that it's lost connectivity to its server, and that (obviously) it cannot be that infallible software developer's fault. If every app on your system loses internet connectivity, try working out whether the interface is still connected to the router, whether you've still got an IP address... that sort of thing. Otherwise, if the loss of connectivity is confined and does not affect everything - app issue. |
