Vista - Blocked from Photobucket

I've been struggling with a strange behavior of Vista (or Explorer in Vista) on my new Sony notebook. I am on a Linksys home wireless network which allows me access to the old XP desktop and its files. Since I started using the new notebook, I have had no problem accessing all websites except one, Photobucket. Also I could not view any images in other sites where a pic was linked from Photobucket.....then yesterday I could suddendly access Photobucket. Later I rebooted and, after that, was again blocked out. Thinking back, I remembered that day that I had connected to the network AFTER starting the notebook, instead of the usual routine where the notebook connects automatically on startup. So I manually disconnected from the network and then reconnected and whalla! I could get into Photobucket. Anyway, I found a fix, but does anyone have an explaination and perhaps a way to get around this little dance I have to do to get into Photobucket?....and why just Photobucket?
