| VHP32 | Internet Connection Sharing - help I have set up internet connection sharing on a Vista laptop - another laptop is connected to the same WLAN via an ADSL router (which is not currently connected to an ISP) providing DHCP. ICS initially worked (Orange mobile broadband dongle) but seems to have stopped working, apparently randomly - deleting and recreating the orange dial-up connection doesn't seem to help. Connecting both laptops via an ad hoc network doesn't help either. Any advice much appreciated. |

| Win7x64 | Re: Internet Connection Sharing - help ICS is a mini-DHCP server, so it's quite possible that the other DHCP server on the same network is in conflict. If you're going to use ICS, I'd suggest deactivating all other DHCP servers on that network segment. |

| VHP32 | Re: Internet Connection Sharing - help Thanks H2SO4 but I have already tried disabling the router's DHCP functionality, and setting static IP addresses for use with the ad hoc [edit: and wireless] network - anything else you can suggest? |
