Re: Unable to open any Microsoft websites

First thing I would do is run some through scans with an Antivirus program and Antispyware programs.

Some free and safe ones

Download FREE antivirus software - avast! Home Edition
Free ESET Online Antivirus Scanner
Malwarebytes.org
The home of Spybot-S&D!
SUPERAntiSpyware.com - AntiAdware. AntiSpyware. AntiMalware.
Windows Defender

Have you ran scans with any of the others? You may still be infected.

Re: Unable to open any Microsoft websites

1.which antivirus/firewall do you use?
2.if you are able to browse MS websites in safemode with N/W, your firewall is blocking your internet in normal mode.
3.your system is still infected, scan your computer with some good tools mentioned above.

Re: Unable to open any Microsoft websites

A cynic might say that you are not missing much...!

Have you checked whether your firewall is actively blocking "Microsoft"? There may be a "blocked list" somewhere. Also check Internet Properties > Security > Restricted Sites. If any Microsoft sites appear there, they will restricted to the least fuctional activity which means that they may not even load. Not sure whether Safe w/NW removes this list.
