Putting PC to sleep!

Can anyone help me with the following? I recently went wireless and since then I have been unable to put my computer to sleep! It will go into hybrid sleep but I don't always want to use this option. I'm running Vista home premium and my router is a Netgear WGR614. Would I have to change any settings in the router software? I have gone into power settings on PC and as far as I can see everything is set as it should be? Any help/advice would be appreciated!

Re: Putting PC to sleep!

you probably need to goto the optios for yuor wireless device and select the "allow vista to turn off this device to save power" option and / or unselect the "allow this device to bring the computer out of standby" option
