dns not working in windows vista

I am unable to browse the internet. I can ping the dns servers by ip address and open websites by putting the ip address in the browser.

However I am unable to browse or ping any website by address. seems like dns in vista is not able to resolve the address.

I tried disabling the IPV6 stack also but no help. It started off by not able to get the DHCP address from the router. So I assigned manual IP address and preferred DNS server addresses. I did try ipconfig/flushdns but it doesnt help either.

I will appreciate any suggestion or clues?

I tried these values too but no use. previously dns server addresses are also working on another computer. Thanks
