| Windows Server 2008, Windows Vista Enterprise, Windows 7 Ultimate (all x64) | Laptop will not automatically connect to wireless My Lenovo laptop will not automatically connect to my home wifi at boot up although it is set to connect. All of my other computers, XP & both 32bit & x64 versions of Vista, will automatically connect. My network is secured and that computer does have the network & key saved. The Lenovo will manually connect to my network. The Lenovo laptop: Y430 series laptop running Vista x64 Home Premium My network: secured DLink Dir-655 Xtreme N gaming router connected to a Motorola cable modem. The Lenovo has another quirk: on battery, screen will go off after maybe a minute even when the laptop is being actively used. Power settings, which have been checked & rechecked hundreds of times, say the the screen should not go off for 15 minutes while on battery. |
