Ok, here is my problem. I have a new HP laptop with Vista Home Premium 64. I can connect to any network or internet connection EXCEPT at work. I use my laptop at work and here are the problems I am running into.
When I first connect to the network, the only computers i can view on the network are ones running vista. After about 10-15 minutes I can see all the other computers and servers. As far as internet, when i first connect it says I have a local and internet connection but only certain pages will load like google. I can search google but any website I try to load from it just shows a loading screen until it says network time out. Some days it will eventually load everything normally but I have to be on the network anywhere from 3 up to 5 hrs.
These problems occur whether I am on wireless or hooked to the router. The internet problems are with both IE and FF. Also, my computer is the only vista computer experiencing this problem. So, any suggestions? I can probably provide more info if needed. Thanks.
