Windows cannot find any networks

Hello..
I have yet another problem with my lame vista laptop and this time, it's the net yet again!
I can't seem to find any wireless networks nor can I find mine.
I've tried to do some of the things people suggested with previous posts like mine but, I it doesn't seem to work.

Wireless Network COneection is disabled, I try to enable it and it doesn't work

p.s.
I can access the internet when I connect the DSL modem directly to my laptop.

Yes, I have tried to switch it on and off, with no luck.
It's displaying a blue light which I assume means that it's working?

Re: Windows cannot find any networks

My laptop with wireless has 2 blue lights. If one is flickering, then I have a wireless connection. The other one, on my laptop, just shows the wireless card is active.

Re: Windows cannot find any networks

go to the network and sharing center and click "manage wireless networks" and delete all the networks listed then try it again

Re: Windows cannot find any networks

Sounds like some of your Services are set to off instead of Auto or Manual.
