Vista - Networked Lexmark X1185 Issue

hey guys another thing here i have a Lexmark X1185 that i have networked for along time with xp on my desktop and vista on the laptop,

now since i installed vista x64 on the desktop i can no longer print from the laptop, yes i know i need to reinstall it on the laptop one problem though i can't do that. i can find the printer but it wont connect to it.

i keep getting "windows cannot connect to the printer. operation could not be completed (error 0x0000000d).

any ideas? i do have both the x64 drivers and the x86 drivers installed on the x64 desktop.

Found this but did not work

going to try to uninstall the x64 drivers from vista and install the x86 drivers and see if i can print from both.

yo wassup found this on a technet blog there were a couple of differernt hacks/solutions maybe you can find the words for you windows cannot connect to the printer.error 0x0000000d

got it to connect but now i need to install the 32bit drivers or upgrade the laptop to 64bit.

can i just install the drivers on the laptop and than connect to it through the network or do they need to be on the desktop?

you should have to install the driver only on the desktop

anybody know where i can get the 32bit .inf file for lexmark x1185
