Ad Hoc Network BSOD!

I am using Vista Home Premium 64bit, and I am having a nasty problem with a BSOD every time I try to connect to an ad hoc network. It will connect to an ad hoc network, but it takes 2-5 minutes to find an IP address. Shortly after it assigns an IP address, I get the BSOD along with an IRQ error message. Here is the feedback I get when I restart the machine:

Problem signature:
Problem Event Name: BlueScreen
OS Version: 6.0.6001.2.1.0.768.3
Locale ID: 1033

Additional information about the problem:
BCCode: d1
BCP1: 0000000000000008
BCP2: 0000000000000002
BCP3: 0000000000000000
BCP4: FFFFFA60030184E8
OS Version: 6_0_6001
Service Pack: 1_0
Product: 768_1

Files that help describe the problem:
C:\Windows\Minidump\Mini051409-01.dmp
C:\Users\Eric\AppData\Local\Temp\WER-167576-0.sysdata.xml
C:\Users\Eric\AppData\Local\Temp\WERF5B.tmp.version.txt

For the record, I have since updated to Service Pack 2, and this did not fix it.

After reading some other threads regarding network issues, I have updated my networking drivers and applied about a dozen other updates from Sony (I have a VAIO).

How can I read Minidump files? I know how to find them, but I cannot read them.
