Problems With Wireless Connection After Unlocking Computer
Hello,
I purchased my HP Pavilion DV4 yesterday. I have an issue with my wireless connection. When opening the lid and unlocking the computer after a period of inactivity, it says that I am connected to my Netgear wireless network but I am unable to access any web pages unless I restart the computer. Can you please advise as to why this would be happening? I am running Vista Home Premium 64 bit. It is getting quite annoying. I don't have any problems with my Macbook or my Dell Mini Netbook.

Open up the control panel and open up teh device manager and go into the properties of your network and uncheck the first box and see if you have any problems still.
