My AVG anti virus wanted a restart so I decided to go ahead and restart the computer. I have 2 icons in a corner of my desktop for disabling WLAN and enabling WLAN the windows wireless config this is to get around the extreme lag that ruins being on the internet with windows wireless internet config. Anyway after the reboot I click to enable it and get the message 'you do not have sufficient privileges or group policy has been applied'
So I can no longer enable the wireless to connect to a network. But I am the admin and only use that account anyway. Anyone know how to fix this? I can't think of how this happened it's been fine for quite a few months of me clicking the wlan on / off as needed so that I don't get those nasty lag spikes.
I have vista ultimate 32 bit.
I haven't gone wired but might have to later but that's a huge pain and not a permanant solution. Side question: is there another way to actually FIX this crappy searching for internet connections = huge lag spike every minute problem?
Thanks
