HI All,

I Have laptop Hp dv4 1211 TU visat home Basic 32 bit,i use wireless data card for internet,now i would like it to connect to my home desk top for internet sharing.how to to connect it?
i would appriciate it.

1; Which wireless router are you using?
2; Do you have a wireless card installed on your desktop as well.?
3; Which OS are you running on your desktop?

Well m using windows vists 32 bit as an operating sys.tataindicom broadband data card for internet.and crossoer cable s to connect laptop n pc

one more thing xp professional on desk top

Ashish if you are using Tata indicom data card, you will not be able to connect your laptop and desktop. Its actually not a wireless configuration. For wireless setup, you need a hardware wireless router, like NetGear or D-Link.

what are the steps to be taken,i will buy wieless router n then n wire less network adaptor for desktop ad then the configuration???????

I connect to internet on my laptop through my my USB wireless broadband modem,now i want to connect it with my home desktop for internet sharing.
i use windows vita basic home on laptop and windows xp on desktop,

Please advise..
