how do i share my usb modem with desktop

i connect to internet on my laptop through my my USB wireless broadband modem,now i want to connect it with my home desktop for internet sharing.
i use windows vita basic home on laptop and windows xp on desktop,

Please advise..

your usb is probably described as a network device in your My Network. Just right click it, go to advanced and "allow other computers to connect to the internet through this device". (Share it)
