| Vista Ultimate x64 | buggy internet on m-7315u I am attempting to repair a gateway m-7315u laptop with 4gb ram and a dual core 2.00 here are the problem and what I think might be the cause. vista home premium 64bit. 1. Slow boot-up : I believe that this might just be the bloatware that comes with laptops 2. Intermittent wireless connection, If you have a wireless signal under 45% then it will not connect to AP. Over 45% and it randomly disconnects from wireless AP and then reconnects. also slow.: it believe that this might be a driver problem or software conflict. 3. wired connection buggy: I believe that this might tie into the wireless issue as when wired into my router it stated unknown connection and ipconfig reported all fields blank. I believe that wiping the computer and reinstalling vista or windows 7 would fix this anyone else add in? |
