Vista - Vista 64-bit Wireless USB Adapters

So I recently got a Vista 64-bit computer and a Linksys WUSB54GC Ver.3 wireless adapter.

I am a gamer, and am suffering the a spike every 60 seconds.

After some forum reading, I learned you can find XP 64-bit drivers for your wireless USB adapter, install those on your Vista 64-bit operating system, and it should remove the lag spikes. Unfortunately, while there may be 64-bit drivers for WUSB54GC Ver.1, Ver.2, and Ver.4, there are no 64-bit drivers for Ver.3. Also, the two programs, Vista Anti-Lag and the other one (WLAN Optimizer?) did nothing to help, because they only function if you've installed the 64-bit drivers.

So I have a few questions:
1. Are there any 64-bit drivers for the WUSB54GC Ver.3?
2. Is there a wireless USB driver that does not suffer from this every-60-seconds-there's-a-lag-spike issue?
3. If I get one of the other versions of the WUSB54GC and install the 64-bit, will it work?
