Vista Discovery Problem on a Mac

Something is going on that I don't understand, my mac is having problems of discovering Vista computers. If I manually type the Vista computer name in "Connect to Server" I have no problems seeing the shared components of that computer.

For some reason Vista computers aren't showing up in my network shares. I have all the correct settings in share and discovery, etc. for Vista. XP systems show up fine. This issue is driving me nuts. As far as I know all the protocols are there for discovery on the network. Is there something missing that I don't know about? I hope there is something I can do to fix discovery for Vista. Manually connecting to Vista is getting old.

Edit:
I think the better question would be: Is it possible to find Apple Filing Protocol (AFP) for Vista? That would be great if so and it would fix all my dislikes about Vista. I believe it does come with Windows 7 and would probably work in Vista x64.
