Vista - Many Hyperlinks Not Working

Hiya folks, first time poster in here.

For some reason just the other day, many of my hyperlinks stopped working.

My Gmail pop up notification links aren't working, in Skype, my "forgot your password" link isn't working, that kind of thing. The mouse identifies the links, but when I click on them, nothing's happening. It seems to be happening with a lot of random links, yet some others, like googletalk notification, are still working.

I've done a registry clean up and defrag just to be sure everything was in order, but nothing's helped. Anyone else having this issue?
