Vista - WiFi Connection keeps dropping

Hello I'm a fairly new Vista user living in school housing. I'm on a wireless network and every 1-3 hours about my connection will drop. I dont believe this to be an issue with the school's Wifi as my roomates connection never seems to drop. I can always hop back onto the network but it's becoming annoying when I've been right in the middle of something. Unfortunately I'm not very computer savvy so I'll tell you what information I have but it probably wont be enough.

I'm not on a laptop, this computer was built.
When I looked up my Wireless adapter all i can find is 802.11n Wireless LAN.
I have already tried updating the drivers for this.

Try rollbacking them. I had a similar problem at my college, but it worked itself out. Sry, I wish I could help.

I'm sorry what exactlly does that mean I should do. Like I said I'm not very computer savvy.

ok well I found out how to rollback (assuming you need the driver for the adapter). I wont knwo if it works till I get disconnected again.

I'm not sure if this is the issue though as I was having problems before I updated my driver.
