Ms isatap

I found this today in my device manager. ISATAP adapter 3 with yellow indicating problem. Did some looking around and found out nothing. Where did it come from and do I need it?

Its for IPv6 support. do you need it, only if you have ipv6 enabled.

Ok, next question; where do i find IPv6 at? Still I would like to know how and when it got on my computer. If I dont need it can I delete it?

dont delete it you will n eed it in the future. it is in network and sharing>change adapter settings>pick adapter>properties>ipv6 uncheck.

hope this helps. You will need it in the future for win 7 homegroup.

You dont need it in vista, and when you go to win 7 it will be installed. IPv6 is known to cause random network drops so you are better off without it right now.
