| Vista 64 bit | Issues with vpn connection Hi, I have very little experience with networks and connections and tcp / udp connection. I am using Microsoft Vista. I have Nortel Networks vpn. I recently bought a t-mobile pay as you go dongle. When I try to vpn using the dongle, I get an error saying 'cannot connect to the server and it complains that port number 10001 is closed. Now I assume the firewall being used is in the dongle? Or is it the Windows firewall, though that is disabled? I'm using Symantic which I also disabled. I'm not sure what the issue is, or how to connect! Thanks in advance for any help / advice you have to give! Kit |
