Newly cleaned computer will not download

I just finished cleaning my hard drive using Recovery Manager in Windows Vista. Then I reinstalled things using all the backup disks I made. Everything looks good except I cannot download anything. It goes to 30/40 percent and stops. Can anyone tell me what the problem might be. One of the items I am attempting to download is my Antivirus protection. Any help greatly appreciated.

I'm wondering if you're downloading everything from the same source from the same browser. Also, if you can try restarting the modem/router it may help.

Thank you for your help. I now have this problem solved. It had some connection to the zip folders.
