| Vista Home Premium 32bit | Strange: My own pc cannot access itself in network Hi. I had to reset my router and reconfigure the network parameters and since then, when I open the "network" icon in Windows Explorer, I see the icon with my PC name on it but when I try to access it, I get that error "cannot access, you may not have access to that network resource, etc etc" plus "the network provider name is wrong", whatecer that is. Oddly enough, this particular computer can be accessed normally from other computers in the same network; that is, it exists for the others but not for itself! |
