Printer Sharing from Vista64 to XP

I have a Canon Pixma ip3000 connected to a Windows Vista 64 Ultimate. It
works fine. But when I try to share to an XP machine over a network I can see
the shared printer but it asks for a driver. Then I point the machine to the ip3000.inf file and all I get is can't find a suitable driver.

I loaded a driver on the XP machine from Canon and no luck.

I downloaded the xp driver and unzipped it on my Vista Machine. When I x off the x86 Type 3-User Mode for Sharing under additional drivers and browse to the unzipped file (ip3000.inf), I get "The specified location does not contain the Canon Inkjet Pixma iP3000 for the requested processor architecture." I have tried everything. If I connect the printer directly to the XP machine it works fine.
