| Vista Business | I have two PCs at Home and a Common Router...Can I share or Sync Outlook Emails? For better or worse, I have a laptop and a desktop at home. I primarily use the laptop, but sometimes I use the desktop, which was my old office desktop and has a large library of relevant old emails, and some more recent/new ones. I would like to share/sync Outlook between them, as if they were one computer (although I don't think the two computers are even currently "networked"). How do I do this. The desktop is running Windows XP. The laptop is running Windows Vista. I am thinking of replacing the desktop with a new CPU which would have Windows 7, transferring all data to that new CPU and upgrading my OS to from Vista to Windows 7, tot he extent that changes/influences the answer to this question. Thanks. |

Thanks. Hi and welcome It is poswsible. It requires a bunch of work and introduces multiple failure points. You could simply put all the mail in one folder somewhere and point both computers at that folder. That way you will always be using the most current copy of the document. then there is the issue of having to have both computers on all the time, maintaining the newtork all the time, etc Ken |
