VISTA Sleep IP Address Router Change

Hi my computer is hooked up to a router. Everytime i place the computer to sleep it changes IP addresses. So say the router is 192.168.1.1 and my Computer is 192.168.1.2.

When I wake the computer up from sleep it changes to something like 192.168.1.3.

I have port-fwd'ing working and I cannot share ports bettween different IP's. How do I find a work around (so that these ports are open for any IP or that my computer will not change IP upon waking.

if pc goes to sleep when it wakes up it acquires IP. 1.2 is already registered in router so router assigns 1.3. You can change NIC so that it doesnt sleep and therefore keeps the 1.2 IP.
