| Vista Home Premium 32-bit | Can only share Public:Music folder even though all folders are shared Two computers - one desktop (HOME-PC), one laptop (STUDOT). Both Vista Home Premium. The laptop can see all folders on the desktop but the desktop can only access the Public Music folder on the laptop, even though it can see the laptop icon (STUDOT) just fine. All permissions are set correctly, all sharing options are set correctly. Desktop used to be able to see and have access to all folders in Public but no more since latest Vista updates. Even though laptop shows up in Network View (attachment 1), if I click on that icon,I get the message that the laptop name is no longer accessible (attachment 2) which is insane. Any suggestions of how to get back to sharing the laptop files with the desktop? Thanks. |
