HELP!
Ok so my router just stoped working for what appears to be no reason.
I have gone through and removed all software from both my laptop (XP) and desktop (vista) and then re-installed them.
The router shows the power light, the WAN light, the port (1-4) light when there is something plugs into it, and even the internet light.
Now when i plug my CAT5 cable into the tower and router, the set up system doesnt acknowledge that the router is there or that there is internet at the router!
I'm guessing that something in my Vista settings got changed somehow? can anyone help PLEASE?
VISTA HOME PREMIUM 32BIT OS
right now i have the CAT5 cable that i plug into my router pluged into my desktop, hence why i can get to the net. Thats why i know it has to be the router.
One last thing. i did go through and reset the router to factory settings when reinstalling software this time too?????????
