To turn on Remote Access, go to:

Start
Right click: Computer
Properties
Click: Remote Settings
Check: Allow Remote Assistance connections to this computer

If Remote Access isn't built into your Vista Home Premium, if you're brave, you can reset your registry and add it into your system: Enable Remote Desktop Connection for Vista Home Premium:

Enable Remote Desktop Connection For Vista Home Premium - WGSWiki

OR there are some third party programs you can use, like:

LogMeIn Hamachi: https://secure.logmein.com/products/...pn.asp?lang=en, or UltraVNC or TightVNC, or others.

LogMeIn is a great tool, we use it here at the work place. Some other things you could possibly look into is GoToMyPC. That, however costs money. Are you looking to remotely control your Desktop, or access files? If you are looking to access files, you could set up a HTTP/FTP server on your machine. If the previous(desktop), Imperfect1 provided some great software as well. Just make sure you use a secure password on your VNC if you use one, don't want any bot kiddies messing with you :P

Good luck!
