Missing Wireless Connection Icon

I did a Windows update & afterwards the wireless network strength icon disappeared & I can't get it back. I tried restore but no luck. In notifications its shown to be shown always. My network connections still works but it would be nice to have that icon back to monitor or switch network connections.
