We both are running Vista 64 ultimate, We both have net and can share files to our third computer which is XP.
Problem. When the two vista Computers Communicate, IE, when he trys to access my computer to grab a file, his network dies. When I access him or do anything that involves connecting to his computer, his network dies. If he hosts a game and I join, his network dies.
Is there a reason for this? As long as I don't try to connect to him he is fine, he suffers no network loss and no issue at all. We have been bouncing files from one vista to xp to vista again but this should not have to be the case. Is anyone able to help me? We have tried fixing the Autotune and changing the IPV6 settings but nothing works.
