I am having problems connecting to the internet. Windows Network Dignostics is indicating that my network adapter "Local Area Connection" is not configured to use the IP protocol. It also indicated that the "Realtek PCIe GBC Family Controller" is experiencing driver or hardware related issues and that I should ensure the IP bindings are correct. To ensure that the "IP version 4 (TCP/IPv4) and IP version 6 (TCP/IPv6) are selected in the configuration for the network adapter "Local Area Connection", they are selected. When reviewing the adapter in device manager, it indicates that the device is working properly and that the lastest driver is being used - Driver version dated 9/02/09 - 6.227.902.2009. My connections was working on 12/24/09. I installed a windows update on 12/24/09, service pack 212 24 2009 that appears to have loaded some system 32 drivers (KB917607) in addition to win32 help.exe. I restarted my computer on 12/26/09 and have not had internet connection since. I also tried attaching a D-link wireless connection which the computer recognizes and indicated taht I have a wireless connection but I am still not connecting to the internet. I am using my laptop to access using the wireless. Can someone help
