No WiFi on Windows Vista

Hey Everybody,

Just installed Vista today on another netbook.
It is an Acer Aspire One. But it doesn't shows any available connections. I need to update the Ethernet Controller but how? Anybody knows what to download?

Go into Device Manager and go to the Network Adapter settings. Right-click on your network card, and select Update Drivers.

I did but then I have to search for a file or do it automaticly but both didn't work but now I found another solution. My network detection was turned of so I tried to turn it on but it stays of and just won't turn on. Any help?

what wi-fi card are you using? internal or usb?

and what do you mean when saying you turned it on but it stays off...?

i'm thinking its a problem with the wi-fi card
