limited connectivity

I ve already looked through the entire network & internet forum and tried all solutions that matched my symptoms and none of them have worked so far.

im using a lenovo thinkpad x200 and lenovo thinkpad t400 laptops using a windows 7 (upgrade from windows Vista ) both having the same problem. all this happened after I made the upgrade.


i had wifi access at any place I go,except in my house. i already have a desktop and two laptop both using windows vista connected (1 with ethernet, and the others through wifi) and both work fine but my windows 7 computer keeps waying that connecting is taking longer than usual and then tells me that the connection was unsuccessful and i have limited connectivity. in the network and sharing center it has the network acess type as local only. any help is appreciated.

Very limited information about your specific problem has been given. But in the wireless device properties please make sure it is set to obtain an IP and DNS automatically. Also, make sure you are typing the correct WPA or WEP password correctly. Please check the device manager as well, double check that the wireless device is working properly.
