i hope you can help me with this kind of problem with the remote desktop. after i followed the instruction in the support.microsoft.com on the remote desktop work around it seems that still i can't use the remote desktop mainly because everytime i log on to it it always ask for the username and password and i don't know what to do with it. i really don't know if the un&pw is my computer's un&pw (which i dont have a pw) or the un&pw of the pc that i wanted to connect to. it seems complicated for a beginner.

It will be the username and password of the computer you are trying to connect to. If you do not have a password on that computer, try entering just your username, but sometimes the security is set up in such a way that you cannot log on if you do not have a password. If you have any problems, just post back.

hi,

the problem with the remote desktop is still the same even if i just put in the username. i tried to put a password on the other computer (the client) but it still the same, asking for the username and password. and i do the same for the host computer and still the same problem. i thoroughly follow the instruction of support.microsoft on the work around same result.

n.b. if there's any resolution or info on this kind of problem kindly reply.
