VPN @ College

Hello! I have a private VPN I use just for personal security, not for work or anything. I am running Windows Vista x64 on a laptop. My school offers wi-fi however it is completely unsecured. I know how to set up and connect to a vpn, however it just hangs while checking user name/password for a few seconds, then says it is unable to connect. Could my school router have a setting on it that blocks VPN access? I can't imagine why they would do that, but I can't see any other reason as to why I can't connect.

Also, I connect at home all the time and I never have any problems.

When I try to "Diagnose the problem", no problems are found.

Any help would be appreciated.

Contact your school IT department.

I needed a new MAC address for my college VPN than the one they originally gave me. They have different routers for those, I think.
