Hi

To anyone, who can help?

I have a fairly good laptop(Packard Bell 36..somthing, dunno paid a few hundred quid for it)..i've had it now a year!..and my wi-fi as never been right. Basically it cuts out every 30mins or so. I have updated drivers, enabled and disabled plugs in and etc..the thing is, the wi-fi best works on a angle, i can only ever use it laying down only by the top of the laptop being on the floor. If i plug the charger in the net cuts off. My net only works with a dongle and stays on?.

I use i realtek driver..and everything i've read, it's meant to be ok.

I also have a vista basic(which i think is the problem-****) it's 32 bit;dixons outdid me on this laptop idjit's..

Everyone in the house their laptops work fine no problem with router

It ****s me off, when i am either trying to do stuff for work, or private use. Even if i restart the laptop, the net cuts out within minutes.

Someone help me, every forum i have checked no help..

Thanks

Shinobi

Hello deadlyavenger85, welcome to Vista Forums!

Maybe it's just your wi fi card, have you tried any type of wi fi booster on the router?

Hi

Thanks.

Would my WIFI card be located under my laptop?..Again this morning my internet cut out within minutes. It's touch sensitive also, i move it slightly it cuts out.

I'm quite close to the router, a few foot.

Cheers Again
