Strange problem while connecting to internet

when i am trying to connect to the internet i am able to connect to the wireless router but i am unable to connect to the internet.

i am getting the following diagram in network center


pc-----------------network------------x----------internet


same problem with using wired connection also.please please help

This may be due to profile change by your ISP, recently my ISP increased my speed from 8MB to 24MB and the DLM(Dynamic Line Management) switched my profile automatically. I rang my ISP and they have disabled automatic DLM, that fixed the problem.
This suggestion only applies if you are in UK and even if you are outside UK worth a try.
