Cannot find file specified

I run windows Vista on my desktop with Network Magic and a Cisco Router as our family computer.

Lately one of my families laptops and our Wii hasn't been able to connect. I looked through our Vista computer. I noticed that the Network Discovery was off. When ever I try to turn it on and apply, I get a pop up that says "The system cannot find the file specified"

Can anyone help me solve this problem?

Run the system file checker go to start, all programs, accessories, command prompt.Right click and run as administrator in the box that opens type
sfc /scannow note the gap before/
If it finds integrity violations run it again.
