Atheros 5007EG Code 10

So, I opened up my Satellite L305D to hook up to my wireless network and...it doesn't work. Great. I went digging around, trying the usual fixes (updating drivers, restarting the machine, checking the BIOS for an on/off switch, toggling the actual switch on the front of the box, et cetera), and all I get from it is a "Code 10...the device cannot start".

It's an Atheros 5007EG wireless card, never had a problem before, and it just cut out. Nowhere have I found anything that helps.

Any ideas?

Had a think about this, I used it before I switched to cable.
Go to control panel,Network connections, Right click on wireless, click enable.
If that didn't work try diagnose from same location.

No, the connection itself is already enabled - that was one of the first things I tried. I'm trying the Services now.

EDIT: Well, I couldn't find Atheros in the list of services. I'm well and truly stumped.

EDIT 2: Well, guess what? I went back to Network Connections, and the wireless connection isn't even there anymore.

Tried everything, couldn't fix it. Decided to go with a Belkin USB transceiver.
